Cost of Water Leaks  Ever wonder how much water could leak through a certain size hole. Or do you think that there is no way a leak could have let that much water through. This document shows how much water can leak through various size holes.

Cross-Connection Control Your water can become contaminated if connections to your plumbing system are not properly protected! The purpose of the local Cross-Connection Control Program, as required by State Plumbing Code and Regulations, is to ensure that everyone in the community has safe, clean drinking water.  To avoid contamination, backflow preventers are required by state plumbing codes wherever there is an actual or potential hazard of a cross-connection.  The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requires all public water suppliers to maintain an on-going Cross-Connection Control Program involving public education, on site inspections, and possible corrective actions by building owners if required.

Consumer Confidence Reports
Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR) provides information concerning water quality for the previous monitoring year.  The report identifies contaminant and monitoring violations (if applicable), and potential health effects created by those violations if they occurred, based on results reported to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Service Line Material Inventory Under Section §141.84 of the Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR), all community Public Water Systems (PWS) “must develop an inventory to identify the materials of service lines connected to the public water distribution system. The inventory must include all service lines connected to the public water distribution system regardless of ownership status.”
