The Village of Prairie du Sac undertook a 2,400 square foot addition to and renovation of its village Hall. The project includes an addition that will include a larger meeting/election space and a conference room. The renovatons to exisiting building, include larger public restrooms; an improved front entrance to save energy; improvments to the buildings heating, ventalation, and air conditioning; stormwater maintenance improvements; and the addition of a stand-by generator.
The goals of the project include, but are not limited to, providing a larger area for public meetings, more space for conducting elections, and a larger conference room for smaller meetings. The project will provide much needed additional space for a growing community and still keep the Village Hall located in the downtown.
The project is partially funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). It is expected to be completed Spring 2024.
