This plan has been prepared to guide the Villages of Sauk City and Prairie du Sac in acquiring and developing public outdoor parks and recreation facilities. It also serves as a tool to participation in outdoor recreation grant programs through the Department of Natural Resources and to suggest regional connections such as through trails to major public open spaces in the area. This plan is intended as a companion to the Sauk Prairie Comprehensive Plan.
