Refuse & Yard Waste

  • For special pickup of large metal items, tires, computer monitors, TVs, building materials, appliances, etc. call Peterson Sanitation at 643-8760 (fees may apply). 
  • Mondays: Brush, branches and limbs. Lay brush parallel to the street. Pile brush neatly on the tree bank, not in the street or gutter. Clean wood (no nails, metals, tar paper or shingles attached), pallet, garden and yard waste, weeds, twigs. Place on tree bank, not in the street or gutter.
  • Wednesdays: Loose leaves and grass clippings (no sticks) will be picked up once a week with the leaf vacuum. Grass clippings, leaves and yard waste (not sticks) that are placed in biodegradable bags will be picked up. No grass clippings are allowed in the street or gutter.
  • Fridays: Concrete (containg no metal). If this is a large amount please contact the Village Hall at 608-643-2421.
