PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Prairie du Sac, WI, shall hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Prairie du Sac Village Hall, 335 Galena Street, Prairie du Sac, WI to receive public comments on their intent to levy special assessments upon property within the following described assessment districts pursuant to Ch. 66.0703 Wis. Stats. for benefits conferred upon the property by the improvement of the driveways, carriage walks, and private walks thereon:
ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS
All properties having frontage on Winnie Avenue from Park Avenue to Water Street; and
All properties having frontage on Holly Court from Grand Avenue to Broadway Street; and
All properties having frontage on 7th Street from Grand Avenue to Broadway Street.
A report showing proposed plans, estimated costs of improvements, and proposed special assessments is on file in the Village Clerk’s office, 335 Galena Street, and may be inspected Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 p.m. These documents are also available at www.prairiedusac.net.
You are further notified that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Prairie du Sac, WI will hear all interested persons, their agents, or attorneys, concerning matters contained in the preliminary resolution authorizing the assessments and in the above-described report at said hearing. All comments will be considered at this hearing prior to action on the resolution.
On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, a second Public Involvement Meeting (PIM) on the projects will be conducted from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Village Hall. The purpose of the PIM is to present information regarding the need for the projects, review project designs, answer questions, and obtain input.
