The VFW Park is located on Water Street and VFW Drive in the Village of Prairie du Sac. The 19 acre park is located, along the Wisconsin River just south of the Prairie du Sac Dam.
The VFW clubhouse, built by veterans is 1993 is located here. Also located at the park is a boat landing, 25 camp sites, 8 horse-shoe pits, 2 shelters, picnic tables, children's play ground equipment, and portable restrooms, one of which is handicap accessible. There is also drinking water available on the eastside of the clubhouse.
The VFW Park is a perfect location to watch Fire on the River annually sponsored by the VFW to celebrate 4th of July.
